Vintage original 11 x 14″ (28 x 35 cm.) lobby card, USA. Bebe Daniels. James Rennie, Dorothy Mackaill, Hale Hamilton, George Fawcett, dir: Sam Wood. The unique art of the silent film lobby card is of supreme evidence here. This was a morals tale about the wealthy. A rich man, having built up his fortune, dies as his family — the new post-World War I Jazz Age generation — squanders the money and seems destined for a ruinous future.
In this card, Rufus Kayne (Hale Hamilton) with wild jazz baby granddaughter Sheila (Dorothy Mackaill). Slight rounding to top left corner, small chip at border edge near bottom left corner. Minor soiling to right border, slight creasing at bottom right corner. VERY GOOD-FINE.
